2025-1022 Authorize and approve the Material Transfer Agreement by and between Dallas County, Texas, a political subdivision of the State of Texas on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) and BEI resources through the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) for the receipt of non-infectious materials to support DCHHS in the development and validation of Laboratory-Developed Tests (LDTs) for public health surveillance and diagnostic testing On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 16, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: 12000/5122 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the Material Transfer Agreement by and between Dallas County, Texas, a political subdivision of the State of Texas on behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) and BEI resources through the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) for the receipt of non-infectious materials to support DCHHS in the development and validation of Laboratory-Developed Tests (LDTs) for public health surveillance and diagnostic testing.
