Consider appointing (i) Jake Potter, (ii) Kristina King, and (iii) Hether Dieste to the Fourth of July Steering Committee to complete unexpired terms ending on October 31, 2027.

The Fourth of July Steering Committee shall be composed of 15 members appointed by at least four members of the City Council for staggered three-year terms commencing on November 1. The Committee is responsible for assisting staff with organizing, planning, coordinating, and overseeing the annual Fourth of July activities of the City, and performing other duties as may be delegated to it by the City Council.<br><br>This item authorizes Council to appoint the following individuals who have met the requirements of the City's Appointment Policy, to serve an initial unexpired term: <br><br>    (i) Jake Potter, <br data-pasted="true">    (ii) Kristina King, and <br>    (iii) Hether Dieste.<br><br>If appointed, their terms will commence immediately and expire on October 31, 2027. At that time, they may seek reappointment to serve a full three-year term.
