2025-0517 Authorize the Purchasing Department to 1) dispose of the listed surplus fleet and seized/forfeiture vehicles, by means of public auction, using contracted vendor Lone Star Auctioneers, and 2) deposit auction proceeds, as appropriate, into the following Funds: General Fund, Sheriff – State Forfeiture, and Dallas County Hospital District dba Parkland HHS. No cost consideration to the County. On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 6, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: 120.0000.44561.0000.1003, 100.20300.9225.45245.30031.0000, and 120.0900.21950.0000.00000.0000 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Authorize the Purchasing Department to 1) dispose of the listed surplus fleet and seized/forfeiture vehicles, by means of public auction, using contracted vendor Lone Star Auctioneers, and 2) deposit auction proceeds, as appropriate, into the following Funds: General Fund, Sheriff – State Forfeiture, and Dallas County Hospital District dba Parkland HHS.
