2026-0770 NATIONAL HEALTH CENTER WEEK On a motion made by Commissioner John Wiley Price, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby recognizes Community Health Center Day as part of National Health Center Week and commends LBU Community Clinic, Foremost Family Health Centers, HHM Health, Prism Health North Texas, and all Community Health Center professionals, staff members, board members, volunteers, and community partners for their dedication to improving the health and well-being of Dallas County residents. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Dallas County Commissioners' Court recognizes the vital role Community Health Centers play as trusted medical homes and acknowledges their leadership in advancing a more coordinated, patient-centered healthcare safety net that improves access to care, strengthens continuity of care, and promotes healthier communities throughout Dallas County.
