2025-0289 Request for Approval: Funding Allocation for Essential Repairs and Upgrades at Ken Mitchum Gun Range – Funding Not to Exceed $83,515 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 18, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the requested funding of $83,515 based on the attached quote be approved for repairs and upgrades at the Ken Mitchum Gun Range. This funding will address the immediate needs of the facility, restore operational efficiency, and maintain a safe and effective environment for users. Additionally, completing these upgrades will ensure compliance with safety regulations, increase the range’s lifespan, and improve user satisfaction.
