2026-0165 Approval of Grant Application Submission for the FY 2027 Criminal Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) Initiative to Support the Homeless Criminal Justice Involved Clients (HSH-CJC) Program; No Cash Match Required. On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 3, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: FY 2027 Criminal Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Dallas County Criminal Justice Department grant application submission for the FY 2027 Criminal Justice Assistance Grant Program (JAG) and approve electronic certification of the grant submission by the Dallas County Judge; approve the Dallas County Judge to sign all associated documents for submission of the grant; and to authorize the County Judge to sign the accompanying resolution stating that the County is responsible for any loss or misuse of funds.
