2025-1021 Approval of Settlement of Claim of Mike Carlson Motor Company (Property Damage Final Settlement) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 16, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $4,361.00, made payable to Mike Carlson Motor Company, as a full and final settlement, for the property damage claim of Mike Carlson Motor Company, arising from an automobile accident involving Dallas County employee Renee Guzman on or around May 22, 2025. That the County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
