The successful implementation of the voter-approved Child Care and Out of School Time Fund (Raising Travis County) is dependent on a stable and financially viable child care and out of school time (OST) provider ecosystem that can deliver high-quality direct care to children and youth. HHS is presenting a resolution for Court approval that would authorize HHS to create a program that would facilitate the implementation of economic development grants for child care and out-of-school-time providers. These grants would promote the continued operation and expansion of child care and out of school time providers, resulting in increased access to quality care.
