2026-0163 Authorization for Grant Submission, Dallas County Office of Special Projects – Fiscal Year 2026 - Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Texas Opioid Abatement Fund Council – Fall 2025 Long-Term Community-Based Opioid Recovery Effort (CORE) Grant Program On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 3, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Opioid Abatement (Texas) Settlement Fund Allocations Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Authorize the grant submission authorized official authority of the Dallas County Office of Special Projects – Fiscal Year 2026 Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, Texas Opioid Abatement Fund Council - Fall 2025 Long-Term Community-Based Opioid Recovery Effort (CORE) Grant Program grant application to support Dallas County’s response to the ongoing opioid crisis within the State of Texas. The project if granted will be established for Dallas County Opioid Abatement Fund (Texas) Settlement Allocation.
