2026-0210 American Heart Health Month 2026 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 17, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: 0000 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Dallas County Commissioners Court with its focus on public health does hereby recognize February 2026 as American Heart Month and thanks organizations such as the Black Heart Association for their service and commitment to Dallas County and the community at large. We implore everyone to eat well, get active and keep up with their yearly screenings.
