2025-0633 Authorize and approve Philip Huang, MD, MPH appointment as Health Authority for Dallas County and the City of Dallas, for a two (2) year term effective June 20, 2025 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: June 3, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: 12000.5120 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the appointment of Philip Huang, MD, MPH as Health Authority for Dallas County and the City of Dallas, effective June 20, 2025, for a term of two (2) years, as pursuant to, Texas Health and Safety Code § 121.023.
