2025-1053 Approval of Full and Final Settlement of Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools vs. Curtis Law, P.C.; Cause No. DC-24-18176, pending in the District Court of Dallas County, Texas, 192nd Judicial District On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: September 16, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to accept the amount of $243,333.33 from Curtis Law, P.C., as full and final settlement of Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools vs. Curtis Law, P.C. ; Cause No. DC-24-18176, pending in the District Court of Dallas County, Texas, 192nd Judicial District. The County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Commissioners Court of Dallas County, Texas, Acting as Administrators on Behalf of the Dissolution Committee for the Former Board of Trustees of Dallas County Schools.
