2025-1185 Grant Award Acceptance; Continuation; District Attorney – Fiscal Year 2026 Office of the Governor - Focused Deterrence Program; Grant Award Amount of $108,315; Cash Match Needed in the Amount of $13,235; Total Project Cost of $121,550 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Grant funds; Cash Match Needed Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the acceptance of the FY2026 Office of the Governor grant award of $108,315 and a needed cash match of $13,235 to continue funding the Focused Deterrence Program for a total estimated cost of $121,550; the needed cash match is included in the FY2026 Countywide match. In addition, authorize the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant period is October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026.
