2026-0344 Approval of Employment Claim of Mary McDuff (Full and Final Settlement) On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 17, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve settlement of the employment claim of MARY MCDUFF for the gross amount of SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($72,000.00) to be disbursed by one check allocated as follows: 1) One payroll check made payable to MARY MCDUFF in the gross amount SEVENTY-TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS AND ZERO CENTS ($72,000.00), from which applicable taxes, federal withholdings, and retirement contributions shall be deducted. provided as full and final settlement of Mary McDuff’s employment claims against Dallas County. The County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County. The County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office for disbursement and satisfaction.
