2025-1183 Grant Submission; Continuation; Dallas County/ State of Texas - Fiscal Year 2026 Texas Indigent Defense Commission Formula Grant Program Request for Applications On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Texas Indigent Defense Commission: Grant Funds Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the submission of the FY2026 Texas Indigent Defense Commission grant application and authorize the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant period for this application is October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026.
