2026-0565 Re-Brief of Court Order #2026-0182 to Correct and Identify Grantee Financial Officer for Grant Submission; New; Parkland Health – Fiscal Year 2027 Office of the Governor – Criminal Justice Program Grant; Grant Award Amount of $437,500; No Cash Match Needed; Total Amount of $437,500 On a motion made by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 5, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Parkland Grant Funds; No Cash Match Requirement Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the re-brief of Court Order #2026-0182 to correct and identify grantee financial officer for the submission of the Fiscal Year 2027 Office of the Governor – Criminal Justice Program grant application in the amount of $437,500; no cash match needed. In addition, a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement for funding the grant and to authorize the County Judge to sign the agreement and all related documents. The grant project is from October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.
