2025-1119 FY25 Bureau of Justice Assistance Missing and Unidentified Human Remains Program Grant Application On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 7, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: N/A Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the recommendation from the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences for the submission of the FY25 Bureau of Justice Assistance FY25 Missing and Unidentified Human Remains Grant application, and authorizes the County Judge to sign the online application documents and other necessary documents related to the application and the acceptance of the grant award on behalf of Dallas County.
