2026-0714 283rd Criminal District Court - Request for Double-Fill of Court Coordinator, Position #3820 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: June 16, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund (12000) Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve a double-fill for the 283rd Criminal District Court, Court Coordinator position (#3820) at an estimated cost of $12,657 with funding available within budget (100.12000.4440.61030.40000). The three criteria established in the County’s double-fill policy are met with this request. The existing staff in the office cannot absorb the additional workload because of a vacancy in the office.
