The City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) requests an Interlocal Agreement with Travis County to develop a publicly accessible trail within the county-owned right of way. The ROW measures roughly 0.564 acres and is currently gated off and unavailable to the public. The ROW is not a road.<br><br>The City will be responsible for installing, constructing, and maintaining the trail across the property at its own expense and in a satisfactory way for the County. The trail is expected to be 10-14 feet wide and located at the edge of the County right-of-way. The City must acquire written approval from the County for the trail design and all improvements before construction begins.<br><br>TNR has coordinated the development and review of the Agreement with the County Attorney's Office.
