2025-1394 Criminal Justice – Request for Funding Adjustment to Address Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Expenditure Overage for Fiscal Year 2025 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: December 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: 1115 Waiver Program Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve utilizing 1115 Waiver Program funds to address the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) expenditure overage of $ 10,194 for the FY2025 grant period (October 1, 2024 – September 30, 2025), and for any overage in the FY2026 grant period (October 1, 2025 – September 30, 2026). Done in open Court December 2, 2025 by the following vote: IN FAVOR: County Judge Clay Jenkins, Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, Commissioner John Wiley Price, Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and Commissioner Andrew Sommerman OPPOSED: None
