2026-0839 Authorize and approve the Agreement Supporting Community Gardens between Dallas County of behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) and The City of Garland, to provide them with reimbursement for eligible expenses incurred to support the Community Garden; funded through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Contract No. HHS001432000003 in the total amount of $5,000 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 4, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Grant: 0890825 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the Agreement Supporting Community Gardens between Dallas County of behalf of Dallas County Health and Human Services (DCHHS) and The City of Garland, to provide them with reimbursement for eligible expenses incurred to support the Community Garden; funded through the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Contract No. HHS001432000003 in the total amount of $5,000.
