2025-1326 Grant Submission and Acceptance; New; Juvenile - Fiscal Year 2026 Office of the Governor - Assessment, Stabilization, and Advancement Program (ASAP); Grant Award Amount of $150,000; Needed Cash Match Amount of $37,500; Total Amount of $187,500 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: November 18, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Office of the Governor; Grant Funds; Cash Match Needed Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby On a motion made by TBD, and seconded by TBD, the following order will be voted on by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve FY2026 Office of the Governor - Assessment, Stabilization, and Advancement Program (ASAP) grant award in the amount of $150,000 to fully fund one (1) position, and partially fund one (1) position, approve the total estimated Countywide match of $37,500 for a total estimated project cost of $187,500; cash match was included in FY2026 Countywide match. In addition, a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement for funding the grant and authorize the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant project is from October 1, 2025, and ends September 30, 2026.
