Beginning this year and proceeding annually, Emergency Services will ask the Travis County ESD Chiefs and our Office of Emergency Management to speak with the Court about their cooperative planning, training, and response efforts for wildland fire. As summer weather grows hotter, dryer, and more severe, the Court and our County residents should have an opportunity to hear from our County fire agencies and OEM about our level of preparedness.
