The Travis County Sheriff’s Office requests Commissioners Court approval to proceed with the purchase with CML Security, LLC of the security electronics and related products for control systems at the Travis County Jail and the Travis County Correctional Complex. The purpose of this request is to ensure the continued operation, service, and enhancement of existing detention facility control systems that are critical to security and daily operations.<br data-pasted="true"><br>The current systems were originally installed by a vendor that is no longer in business. CML Security, LLC has acquired the intellectual property associated with these systems, including programming code, software licenses, engineered drawings, and site-specific configurations.
