Raising Travis County is committed to providing high quality early care and education to Travis County's youngest children, ages 0–3, allowing their parents and caregivers the opportunity to participate in the workforce. Early childhood educators are critical to providing this care and creating an environment that is safe, nurturing, and educational - promoting brain development and cultivating social emotional skills that prepare our children for success in Kindergarten and beyond. It is critical to invest in a workforce of highly educated teachers who are equipped with the skills they need to carry out this essential work, supporting our children, families, and local economy.
