The Travis County Commissioners Court makes appointments to the Housing Authority of Travis County (HATC) Board of Commissioners for two-year terms. Appointments to the board are governed by the Uniform Appointment Process adopted by the Court on March 6, 2012. Jimmy Paver has notified the Court that he will be stepping down from his seat, leaving an unexpired term. Under the terms of the UAP, the Commissioners Court must issue a Call for Applications to fill the vacancy. However, the Court may utilize the candidate pool from the October 2025 Call for Applications, given how recently that Call was issued.
