On a motion made by Commissioner John Wiley Price, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 21, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby with pride and purpose salute the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., who serve Nationally and Internationally to make an impact. BE FURTHER RESOLVED that we remember the 22 Founders of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated who founded this public service organization based on sisterhood, scholarship, service and social action that is continuing to improve and positively impact communities.
