2025-1197 Approval of Visual Language Professionals claim against Dallas County – Full and Final Settlement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $13,732.62, made payable to Visual Language Professionals, as full and final settlement for the claim of Visual Language Professionals. The County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
