The Department requests the acceptance of this application to continue the Financial Support Plus 1 Program with the City of Austin, Austin Energy for the upcoming period in 2024 – 25.  The amount that is currently allocated to Travis County is $257,805.61. This amount is allocated quarterly to the County.  These program funds are used to respond to utility assistance requests from households with an income at or below 200% of the current Federal Income Poverty Guidelines and are unable to meet their household energy needs.  The households served will be customers of Austin Energy and Travis County residents.
