The Thaxton Road Extension Project will widen an existing two-lane rural road to a four-lane urban arterial with sidewalk and bike lanes on each side of the road, from its intersection with McKinney Falls Parkway to Sassman Road.<br data-pasted="true"><br>Modification No. 3 increases the contract by $366,754.90, from $731,756.46 to $1,098,511.36 for revisions that include updating water quality and detention designs, traffic studies for existing and proposed signing, and for additional bid and construction coordination services from attending meetings to supporting project closeout.
