2026-0567 Authorize the Project Specific Agreement between the City of Grand Prairie and Dallas County to secure funding for the SH180/E Main Street Roundabout at E Jefferson Street Major Capital Improvement Program 40813 and the Jefferson Street Reconstruction (SH 161 to Cimarron Trace) and Main Street Roadway Improvements (SH 161 to Belt Line Road) Major Capital Improvement Program 40814 Road & Bridge District 4 On a motion made by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Theresa Daniel, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: May 5, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: MCIP Fund 19600 Project 40813 and also to MCIP Fund 19600 Project 40814 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Approve and authorize the execution of this Project Specific Agreement between the City of Grand Prairie (“City”) and the County of Dallas, Texas (“County”) to secure funding for construction of both MCIP 40813 SH180/E Main Street Roundabout at E Jefferson Street MCIP 40813 and MCIP 40814 that includes Jefferson Street Reconstruction (SH 161 to Cimarron Trace) and Main Street Roadway Improvements (SH 161 to Belt Line Road). The overall total cost is estimated to be Fifteen Million, Six Hundred Fifty-Four Thousand, Seven Hundred Thirty-Seven Dollars and Thirty-Four cents ($15,654,737.34). SH180/E Main Street Roundabout at E Jefferson Street MCIP 40813 is Eight Million, One Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars and no cents ($8,180,000.00).
