2026-0508 Authorize and approve request to modernize the Dallas County’s Sheriff Adult Information System On a motion made by Commissioner John Wiley Price, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 21, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Major Technology Capital Project - 19500/19600-9410 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the reallocated existing funds from closed IT projects to modernize the existing Adult Information System (AIS) into a secure, scalable, and state-of-the-art Jail Management System at an estimated cost of $5,360,000.
