2026-0169 Re-brief to Update Budget and Correct Grant Number on Resolution; Authorize the Mental Health Diversion Grant Application for FY2027 grant through the State Criminal Justice Planning Fund with the Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor. No Cash Match Required On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 3, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: FY2027 grant through the State Criminal Justice Planning Fund with the Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize the submission of the application for the Specialty Court Grant funding through the Criminal Justice Division, Office of the Governor, to benefit the Dallas County Mental Health Diversion Court for the FY2027 year, from September 1, 2026- August 31, 2027, and to sign the accompanying required resolution and to designate the County Judge as the Authorized Official of this grant application.
