2025-0239 Approval of Settlement of Claim of Adonaldo Escobar Property Damage Final Settlement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 4, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $2,816.83, made payable to Adonado Escobar, as a full and final settlement, for the property damage claim arising from an automobile accident involving Dallas County employee Pablo Gonzalez and property damage on/or around September 18, 2024. That the County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
