Gorniak, DO, for an Independent Forensic Review On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 1, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: General Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the attached professional service agreement with Dr. Jan Gorniak of World Peace Forensic Consulting, LLC to provide an independent forensic review of the Roberson file, related to the case styled Roberson, Robert Leslie, III v. The State of Texas , Case No. 26162, in the 87th Judicial District Court, Anderson County, Texas, at a not to exceed cost of $20,000.
