2025-0367 Approval of Conciliation Agreement for the HUD Claim of Brittany Jones as Full and Final Settlement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 1, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Dallas County Commissioners Court issue an order: (1) directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $3,000.00, made payable to Brittany Jones, and to release said check to any employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County Criminal District Attorney’s Office for disbursement and satisfaction; (2) authorizing the Dallas County Judge to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and (3) directing the Dallas County Health and Human Services Department to take all actions necessary to comply with the Conciliation Agreement.
