2025-0405 National Correction Officers Week: May 4 thru May 10 On a motion made by Commissioner John Wiley Price, and seconded by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 15, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: NA Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby proclaim the week of May 4 to10,2025 as National Correctional Officers & Detention Services Week in Dallas County, Texas, we encourage all our residents to join in recognition and appreciation of the outstanding service provided by our professional correctional officers and detention services employees for the safety and welfare of Dallas County.
