2025-0241 Approval of Vincent Lee Guererro claim - Full and Final Settlement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: March 4, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: GENERAL FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby issue this order directing the Dallas County Treasurer to issue a check in the amount of $20,000.00, made payable to Spangler Law PLLC, 1700 Pacific Ave., Suite 2620, Dallas, TX 75201, as full and final settlement for the claim of Vincent Lee Guererro. The County Judge is authorized to execute any documentation required for this settlement on behalf of Dallas County; and the County Treasurer is to release said check to an employee of the Civil Division of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, for disbursement and satisfaction.
