The Animal Shelter Advisory Committee shall be composed of five members, who are: (i) residents of the City, (ii) business owners who pay ad valorem taxes to the City, or (iii) officers or employees of a business entity that pays ad valorem taxes to the City. Members are appointed by the City Council for staggered three-year terms commencing on July 1.
