2025-1190 Dallas County Sheriff’s Office FY2026 Commissary Escrow Budget – Total Estimated Expenditures $4,598,670 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Commissary Fund Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office FY2026 Commissary Fund budget in the total amount of $4,598,670 to support salaries and operating expenditures within the Sheriff’s Office. This budget includes the transfer of six Detention Service Officer (DSO) positions from the General Fund back to the Commissary Fund, reflecting the stabilization of commissary revenues.
