2025-0453 Grant Submission; Continuation; District Attorney – Fiscal Year 2026 Office of the Governor –– Human Trafficking Team; Grant Request Amount of $207,520; No Cash Match Requirement On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: April 15, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: State Grant Funds; No Cash Match Requirement Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby Approve the District Attorney to submit the grant application to the Office of the Governor to fund the new position under the Human Trafficking Team in the amount of $ 207,520 with no needed cash match. In addition, a resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement. It authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents to this grant. The grant project is from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026.
