2026-0137 Grant Submission; Continuation; Community Supervision and Corrections Department – Fiscal Year 2027 Office of the Governor – Successful Treatment of Addiction Through Collaboration - Criminal Justice Division, Specialty Courts Grant Program; Grant Request Amount of $599,976; No Cash Match Required On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner John Wiley Price, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: February 3, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funds; No Cash Match Needed Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby On a motion made by TBD, and seconded by TBD, the following order will be voted on by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Community Supervision Correctional Department (CSCD) to submit the grant application to the Criminal Justice Division to continue funding the STAC court in the amount of $599,976 with no Countywide cash match required at this time. A resolution signed by all Commissioners Court members is required as part of the grant requirement and authorizes the County Judge to sign all related documents. The grant project is from September 1, 2026, through August 31, 2027.
