The Travis County Sheriff’s Office respectfully requests approval of an agreement between Travis County and St. Edward’s University to provide supervised internship opportunities for students in the Master of Arts in Counseling (MAC) program at the Travis County Correctional Complex. This partnership supports the delivery of behavioral health services while also enhancing the recruitment of qualified counseling professionals. St. Edward’s University has been a long-standing partner, and this agreement formalizes continued collaboration. There is no fiscal impact on Travis County, and the agreement has been reviewed and approved by the Travis County Attorney’s Office.
