2025-1483 Authorize and approve Reliant Energy CARE Program donation in the amount of $11,000 for the provision of energy assistance payments to Reliant, Direct Energy, Green Mountain Energy, Discount Power, Cirro, Stream, and Xoom Energy customers with an active account under the CARE program On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: December 16, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: 0830717 Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the additional funding from NRG for the Reliant Retail Services, LLC CARE Program ("CARE") with Dallas County Health and Human Services, in the amount of $11,000.00, for the provision of energy assistance payments to Reliant, Direct Energy, Green Mountain Energy, Discount Power, Cirro, Stream, and Xoom Energy customers with an active account and authorize DCHHS to appropriate the budget line items.
