2026-0924 Approval of Memorandum of Understanding with the United States Capitol Police for Temporary Roof-Top Radio Communications Facility Use at the Frank Crowley Courts Building On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: August 18, 2026 FUNDING SOURCE: N/A Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize the County Judge to execute the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Dallas County and the United States Capitol Police (USCP) and approve the temporary installation, operation, and removal of USCP radio communications equipment at the Frank Crowley Courts Building in support of federal protective operations during the September 9–10, 2026 special event.
