2025-1410 Authorization and Approval of the purchase of equipment for Constables Precincts 1,2,3,4, & 5 for $742,252.41 from GTS Technology Solutions using DIR Contract No. DIR-CPO-5225, DIR-CPO-4751 and Technology Solutions Products and Services(TIPS) Contract No. 230105 On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: December 2, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: MAJOR TECHNOLOGY FUND Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby authorize and approve the estimated purchase cost of $742,252.41 to replace End of Warranty (EOW) equipment as recommended. The equipment will be purchased and procured through GTS Technology Solutions via the cooperative agreement Department of Information Resources (DIR) Contract No. DIR-CPO-5225, DIR-CPO-4751, and Contract No. Technology Solutions Products and Services TIPS-230105, authorized by Chapter 271, section 271.102 (a)(c) of the Texas Local Government Code. Funding is available in the Major Technology Fund -Computer Hardware Account (100.19500.1091.62093.10000) VIA a transfer from SoftCode Project to be created in Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
