2025-1196 Acceptance of Texas Office of the Governor Justice Assistance Grant Program for the Dallas County Criminal Justice Department’s Pretrial Diversion Assessment Program; No Cash Match Required On a motion made by Commissioner Dr. Elba Garcia, and seconded by Commissioner Andrew Sommerman, the following order was passed and adopted by the Commissioners Court of Dallas County, State of Texas: BRIEFING DATE: October 21, 2025 FUNDING SOURCE: Texas Office of the Governor Justice Assistance Grant Be it resolved and ordered that the Dallas County Commissioners Court does hereby approve the Dallas County Criminal Justice Department to accept the grant award for Pretrial Diversion Program to the Office of the Governor, Criminal Justice Program – Justice Assistance Grant Program (Grant No. 4751103), approve the attached year one grant budget, and authorize the Dallas County Judge to sign any associated documents for operation of the grant.
